Evan Palmer is a 2024 C/OF with a 6-1 210 lb. frame from Toms River, NJ who attends Manchester Twp. Palmer worked exclusively from his primary spot behind the dish, showcasing a one knee slight side saddle set with a direct midline transfer to produce throws around the bag. He effectively gained ground in the footwork with developing arm strength, ultimately posting a 2.11 pop time. Offensively, the righty started from a narrow slightly open stance with a lower hand set that produced consistent impact to all parts of the field. He had evident strength in the hands with the ability to create easy carry on the baseball when timed up. Posted an exit velo of 91 mph. Ran a 7.90 sixty yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
