Sam Jenkins is a 2027 RHP/1B with a 6-0 185 lb. large proportional athletic frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Notre Dame Preparatory. Starts in a wider base in the box. Has present bat speed and intent. Using a pull approach, he squared up over half the reps in his BP round. A primary pitcher that has a mature presence on the mound coupled with a dominating fastball. Spun a good curveball with a 2175 spin rate. Big upside here. Defensively Jenkins uses the proper foot/glove/transfer mechanics, and made all the required plays and throws across the diamond. Show clean arm action and was accurate. Named to the 13/14u Southwest TP List.
