Louis Dion is a 2024 SS/RHP, 2B with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Henderson, NV who attends Coronado. Medium, slender build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 6.95 seconds. Primary infielder, moved well laterally, showed his athleticism by gliding around the infield. Worked through the ball well displaying soft hands and good footwork with a quick transition. Was clocked up to 77 mph on throws across the diamond, still working on accuracy, as he gets older the accuracy will continue to get better. At the plate, hits from an even base with a simple load. Has a quick swing with a direct path to the ball that stays long through the zone. The strength will continue to develop as he gets older. Consistently generated soft line drives to all fields. Excellent student. Was named to the National Underclass West Showcase top Prospect list.
