Kade Thompson is a 2024 C/RHP, 2B, SS, OF with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Gilbert, AZ who attends Casteel. Ran a 7.33 60 yard dash. Projectable frame on the mound with clean mechanics. Long arm swing with a slight hesitation at the bottom. The fastball topped at 74 and had slight cut action to it. Curveball sits around 63 and has some depth. Good strike thrower. Good defender behind the plate. Put up a 1.94 pop time and has quick catch and throw ability. Throws stay low and online, body stays low to the ground. Athletic reactions and shifts well. As a hitter, good load with a repeatable stride. Clean bat path and has some nice bat speed in the swing. Stays compact and should add some power as he fills out.
