Jimmy Gallagher is a 2026 RHP/OF with a 5-10 135 lb. frame from Williamstown, NJ who attends Gloucester Catholic. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.97 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, full windup on the mound, compact arm action through the back working to a higher three-quarters release point; ball comes out of hand well, can continue to find consistent tempo to operation through delivery. Fastball topped out at 77 mph, showed the ability to miss bats in the zone and showed occasional cut action. Worked mostly off of fastball but did show a curveball up to 68 mph with short depth, occasionally gets on the side of the ball at release. Fields the ball out front with two hands in the outfield, some bend at waist, shows carry on throws to intended base and gets on top of the ball; can continue to refine and implement additional footwork into actions. Right-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; rotational lower half in swing, employs a pull side approach at the plate. Long swing path through the zone, gets out front at times, best when working on a linear plane and shows strength in his hands.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
