2022 13U/14U Sunshine Mid-South Showcase
Colson Alexander is a 2026 SS/RHP/OF with a 6-1 150 lb. frame from Olive Branch, MS who attends Lewisburg. Recorded a 7.16 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop with a lean, athletic frame. Used smooth, long strides in the infield with athleticism on display. Showed energy to actions and threw from a compact arm action. Reached 80 mph on throws across the diamon. Also worked out in the outfield and threw on line with one hop accuracy. Right-handed hitter and starts from a narrow base with open feet. Employs a toe tap trigger and showed a loose stroke with solid bat speed. Bat path stays on a level plane and had a consistent round, sending liners to pull side and the middle of the field. Secondary right-handed pitcher and begins delivery with a side step and a leg lift to core level. Lands on line at foot strike and uses a short arm action. Showcased good arm speed and ran the fastball up to 79 mph. Pounded the zone and pitched with intent. Had an efficent outing and flashed a slider. Named to the 2022 13U/14U Sunshine Mid-South Showcase Top Prospect List.
