RJ Browning is a 2027 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Hampstead, NC who attends Topsail. Medium height with an athletic build and a body that projects. Ran a 7.58 on the sixty yard dash. A primary infielder, squares the ball up well and stays in line with the ball. Works his feet to field cleanly, times it up with double armed rhythm and showed a strong arm across the diamond. Accurate too. Also worked out in the outfield, aggressive and works quickly and directly. Clean funnel and very strong arm to the bases. A right-handed hitter, starts with a wider base and shows good hand quickness and can already whip the barrel through the zone. Sways with the body to get the weight through the contact and uses a full path through the ball. A secondary pitcher, stays tall until gather and then launches off the back side. Clean path with a 3/4 release. Shorter arm action and good zip out of the hand with solid angle and cut at times. solid shape to the 11/5 CB.
