Cody Bentley is a 2008 SS/P with a 6'0'', 190 lb. frame from Pound, VA who attends JJ Kelly. Cody has an athletic build and is a very good two way prospect. He showed excellent arm strength during the infield workout and made a big league play up the middle during the game. At the plate he hits hard line drives and shows gap power from a no stride approach. His approach showed well in games as he made hard game contact. He can really run as shown by his 6.69 sixty. He can also pitch in the upper 80's with tailing action. He shows a nice change with sink and mixes up his breaking ball. Nice two way potential in college if not more. Maybe the top unsigned senior in the country.
