Pablo Cavaluzzi is a 2027 C/RHP/3B with a 5-6 137 lb. frame from Magnolia, TX who attends Magnolia. Young, square shouldered frame with a lean build and room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran an 8.19 60-yard dahs. Primary catcher, lower set up behind the plate, repeats actions well coming out of crouch, gets tall moving into release, shorter transfer softness in actions, arm strength and carry on throws will continue to develop moving forward. Shorter arm action in the in the dirt on throws across the diamond, makes the plays with some proper fundamentals to build upon, shows a feel for movements, tends to work across body at release. Also pitched, coordination in delivery, simple actions with a short arm action, began repeating and filling zone throughout out; pitched to contact and induced weak contact off of the barrel, fastball topped out at 73 mph, flashed a curveball up to 61 with developing shape, nice room to grow and improve moving forward. Right-handed hitter, begins with a narrow and open stance with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Longer swing path through the zone with looseness in wrists, shows feel for swing and creates some separation out front. Occasional lift to path when working to the middle of the field and works through the ball well.
