Damian Valdez is a 2026 OF/RHP, C with a 5-11 152 lb. frame from Buckeye, AZ who attends Canyon View. Medium build with length that can continue to fill out. Ran a 7.60 in the 60-yard dash. Outfielder who showed good fundamentals, quick feet and confident into stronger, on-line throws. Present arm strength from short arm action and carry. Right-handed pitcher, works from stretch with high leg kick above belt into a mid three-quarter release. Medium stride down the mound. Showed feel for both fastball and curveball, as the breaker showed tighter 11-5 shape. Good mover down the slope. Left-handed hitter, upright stance and narrow base with high back elbow. Hands are packed with intent, hard liners off bat. Good strength and intent in hands that should only develop. Named to Top Prospect list.
