Noah Baker is a 2023 OF/RHP with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Roswell, GA who attends Lassiter. Slender young build with the beginnings of some present strength with plenty more to come. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight start with a small lower half shift and a low hand load, backside heavy swing with an uphill lifting swing plane, has strength in his hands and creates solid bat speed from his pull and lift approach, squared up the ball well in games to show his power and barrel ability. 7.22 runner in the sixty, comes and gets the ball well in the outfield with a good transition from fielding to throwing, made accurate throws with some developing carry. Also pitched, works from the stretch with a high energy delivery that leaves him falling off the mound hard to the first base side. Arm slot varies between pitches, high 3/4's on his fastball, mid 3/4's on his curveball so he's tipping his pitches. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, mostly straight. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
