Patrick Flaherty is a 2021 2B/3B, SS with a 5-9 157 lb. frame from Glastonbury, CT who attends Glastonbury. Young, square shouldered frame with a lean and projectable build, room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.90 60-yard dash. Primary second baseman, active footwork moving towards the ball, fields it out front with glove, works into a short arm action, clean transfer and release, arm strength will continue to develop, tight slot on throws, moves well on the charge with good body control. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate with a spread lower half. Stays short and direct to the ball with a long finish through the point of contact. Shows comfort working to hte middle and pull side parts of the field, can shorten lower half mechanics, best contact when working on a linear plane. Good student.
