Braden Cox is a 2028 OF/RHP, 1B, 3B with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from Sea Girt, NJ who attends Wall. High waisted, athletic frame with plenty of time and room to physically mature. Primary outfielder with a fundamentally sound defensive skill set. Works downhill through the baseball with athleticism and fluidity. Fields properly off his front foot and maintains momentum into release. Recorded arm strength up to 78 mph during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked from a full windup delivery with good rhythm and tempo to his movements. Incorporates slight hip turn into balance and drives down the slope efficiently. Proficient strike thrower with developing arsenal. Commanded both sides of the plate with his fastball that peaked at 76 mph during this look. Steadily worked in the 74-75 mph range from a compact three-quarters arm slot. Mixed in developing breaking with 11-5 shape to it and slurve action and killed spin on his changeup effectively. Will continue to add velocity with additional strength and maturity. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wider, even base with tight hand set and leg lift trigger. Contact oriented stroke with looseness to his hands, whip to his barrel and feel for the barrel. Displayed consistent line drive impact to the middle-of-the field and showed the ability to turn the barrel on the inner-half. Will continue to add more power potential with physical strength gains. Named to the 2023 13/14U Mid-Atlantic Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
