Jailen Monegan is a 2025 SS/2B, 3B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Humble, TX who attends Kingwood. Recorded a 7.43 second 60-yard dash time. Primary shortstop with a medium frame and athletic build. Under control athletic actions moving around on the dirt. Hands work to both sides with funnel out front moving through the ball. Throws across the diamond at 86 mph with ability to drop the arm slot accurately while on the move. Right-handed hitter with a slightly open even base and high hands start with flat barrel. Hanging knee-lift trigger stride to square with flat barrel path through the zone. Impact through the middle with strength out front. Excellent student.
