Jude S Young is a 2024 C/RHP, 3B, IF, UT with a 5-8 200 lb. frame from Odenville, AL who attends Home School. Jude is a bigger athlete with fundamentals in place. Behind the dish, Jude gets a bit peachy for the baseball instead of staying back on it. Once received he shows a decent transfer and gains ground toward his target. Need some arm strength training to improve carry and velocity. Young shows ability to use three different pitches when on the mound. Nothing overpowering, he just throws strikes and tries to mix it up as much as he can. Delivery is very smooth and repeatable. Jude has a bit of longer swing and with some timing inconsistency, he shows that he uses the opposite field more times than not for contact. Some simple speed and agility training will help in his development and consistency as a whole.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
