Carson Crum is a 2025 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-8 146 lb. frame from Little Rock, AR who attends Little Rock Christian Academy. Recorded a 7.86 second sixty yard dash time. Lean and athletic build with plenty of physical development still to come. Primary left-handed pitcher, short arm action with some plunge in the back, comes from a high three-quarters slot. Great mentality on the mound, works at a good pace and constantly attacks, has a lot of confidence in his stuff. Has a very quick arm, really sinks into the back hip and utilizes drop and drive lower half mechanics. Painted the outer half with his fastball, showed an impressive slider with 1-7 shape and great bend, will get sharper as he continues to throw it harder. Also throws a curveball with more vertical shape/movement, is a nice change of pace, tends to slow his arm down on it. Showed great feel for both breakers, good athlete that projects very well on the mound. Secondary outfielder, fields off the front foot and has a passive approach. Loose arm with solid arm strength and carry, developing footwork/mechanics and limited accuracy at present. Left-handed hitter with a big leg lift trigger and a high hand and back elbow set. Short and direct path to the ball with present hand speed, rotational approach, gets around the ball at times. Has the tendency to pull out his front side, was at his best when keeping a linear path through the zone rather than a downward one. Excellent student. Named to the 13U/14U Sunshine Northeast Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
