Samuel Malone is a 2026 C/RHP, SS with a 5-0 93 lb. frame from Hillsborough, NJ who attends Homeschool. Compact and young frame with room to fill and time to do so. Ran a 9.89 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, worked out behind the plate staying into his legs with a side saddle stance, comes up out of crouch into an upright release, loose arm creating uphill carry to his throws, developing arm strength. Secondary right-handed pitcher, full windup that starts with a rocker step up to a high leg lift, over the top arm slot release, straight fastball that topped out at 58 mph, will need to implement an offspeed pitch for added effectiveness. Also worked out in the infield and outfield showing lateral agility, fielding the ball to the side and into his body. Switch hitter, graded out best from the right side, open stance and upright, utilizes a leg lift trigger, long swing plane and stays flat through the hitting zone, best contact to the middle of the field, will continue to improve in all facets as he adds strength.
