Tyler Vonella is a 2024 C/3B with a 6-0 205 lb. frame from Hampstead, MD who attends Manchester Valley. Physical, large build with strength present throughout his frame. 8.18-second runner during the sixty. Primary catcher, side saddle set up. Pops out of the crouch, switching his feet as he gains some ground towards his target. Tended to work uphill, coming out of his legs at times, pulling his throws to the wrong side of the bag. Recorded a best pop time of 2.30-seconds. Up to 70 mph on his throws to second, flashing some arm strength with more left in the tank. Right-handed hitter, slightly open stance with a high-hand set up. Compact stroke, with his barrel working short through the zone. Displayed impact to the pull side, generating tons of bat speed from his lower half, as he created some loud contact when everything sync'd up with his leg-lift-trigger.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
