Nick Prieto is a 2026 RHP/2B, 3B, OF with a 5-4 138 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Christopher Columbus. A high-waisted body and compact build. Medium frame. Ran an 8.69 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher who worked out of the windup with a side-step towards first base. Worked into a leg lift up around the belt. Throws from an over-the-top slot with a clean arm path. Short and compact arm stroke. Hides the ball well through the back. his fastball had a little bit of life to it. Showed a few breaking balls that had 12-6 shape to it. Had a feel for the spin. Feel for the mound with a two-pitch mix. Punched out four opposing hitters during his outing. A right-handed hitter with the hands set high and a high back elbow. Used a wide base to start, getting his weight back and using hard turns as he rotates through contact. Had some quickness to his hands. Had a couple of line drives to the middle of the field. during his round of BP. Also worked out in the infield showing off quick feet. Moved with athleticism. Threw 71 mph across the diamond. Great student.
