Jake Martin is a 2023 C/IF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from St. Clair Shores, MI who attends University Liggett. Ran a 7.61 second sixty. Primary catcher with a medium physical build showing some strength in the lower half. Sits in the square stance receiving the ball well out front before moving into the throws with solid footwork. Made accurate throws with average arm strength recording a 2.08 second pop time. Right-handed hitter, starts slightly open using a leg lift trigger to get back to even. Showed some strength off the barrel working from gap to gap with young barrel accuracy but projectable strength when he is out front on time. Excellent student. Named to the 2022 Great Lakes Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
