Surfiel Correa is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Arecibo, PR who attends Maria Cadilla de Martinez. Extra tall with long limbs and big projection remaining. A primary right-handed pitcher, worked from the stretch exclusively. Fluid delivery with a full arm stroke and excellent extension at release. Working down with good running life to he fastball. Keeps the arm speed up on both the curveball and changeup helping to tunnel some during the outing. Very good potential to add velocity. Also worked out as a right-handed hitter, starts even and upright using a knee to knee trigger. Has some length in the zone and gets extended.
