Brendan Hurst is a 2027 OF/RHP, 3B with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Woodstock, GA who attends Woodstock. Large, athletic frame with long limbs and a higher waist, lean build with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.17 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, controls body well on the approach, clean process to and through the baseball, deliberate tempo but allows for repeating, longer arm action through the back, shows some present strength and tools to build upon moving forward. Also pitched, worked exclusively out of the stretch and starts on the third base side of the rubber; leg lift up to belt with a slight turn at top; full arm action through the backside into a three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, some deception in release with moving parts, pitched exclusively off of the fastball and collected quick outs, struck out 4 of 6; flashed a curveball with 11-5 shape in warm ups. Right-handed hitter, begins with an open stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; controls long levers well and shows nice timing in the box. Generates some impact at the point of contact when on time, creates separation in swing, turns the barrel over well on contact to the pull side. On the barrel with swing and showed best contact on a low line to the middle of the field. Named to the 14u Georgia All-State Games Top Prospect List.
