Dominic Pinera is a 2025 C/RHP/3B with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Memorial. Medium frame with some strength on the build and plenty of room to fill out. Ran an 8.31 secco 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, has a higher setup in the crouch and some stiffness to how he receives the ball; gains good ground into throws with developing arm strength that will improve results out of the hand. Also worked out in the infield, moves quick with short strides to the ball, winds up some during building momentum to the bag and will improve with similar additions in arm strength. Right-handed hitter, sets up even and squared. Works on a longer path to the ball with some whip of the barrel; is able to get the barrel head out front at a good rate while turning it over and generating line drive contact to the pull side.
