Noah Salazar is a 2027 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-11 169 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Second Baptist. Advanced lengthy frame for the age and class with present body coordination and physical attributes that project at a higher level than most his age. Ran a 7.91 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, full windup from the third base side of the rubber, hands start at chest then drop to the belt during the sidestep, belt high leg lift, inline path down the slope with solid direction to the plate, clean and slightly higher three-quarters slot with some downhill action attained on the fastball, worked around the zone nicely, mixed in a slidestep while in the stretch that maintained velocity, worked both sides nicely with the heat, nice sink on the change that killed about 600 RPM of spin, developing feel to find consistent shape on the slider. Secondary first baseman, fits the profile here, solid arm across with accuracy, dropped slot on the turn to second, comfortable around the bag with solid footwork and coordination. Left-handed hitter, small stride with a wider base, has present hand speed and intent to lift, natural feel for the stick with consistent pull-side contact, can turn it over with backside connection, consistent timing out front with the hovering trigger. Promising young prospect with real ability at every position on the diamond and figures to improve as he gets older and the body continues to develop. Named to the 2023 14U Texas All-State Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
