2022 Preseason HS Prospect Showcase
Adrian Aquino is a 2024 SS/RHP with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Dunwoody, GA who attends Dunwoody HS. Recorded a 7.11 second 60-yard dash time. Physical frame with a good bit of strength present throughout. Primary shortstop with solid footwork and accuracy from a lower slot. Good fundamentals and has deliberate actions. Good footwork and had throws across up to 70 mph. Arm strength plays from secondary position of outfield. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a big rocker step into a leg lift at the belt. High three-quarters arm slot with a very compact arm stroke. Short sinking life on the fastball and can work the pitch to both halves. Breaker shows slurvy shape and lands online with his front leg. Good strikes and has feel for glove side command. Right-handed hitter with a wide base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Whip to the barrel and has power to the opposite field alley. Strong wrists and can impact the ball to generate power to all fields. Great student.
