Zeign Smith is a 2026 RHP/OF with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Rogers, AR who attends Providence Academy. Slender young athletic build with lots of growing ahead of him. Works from the stretch with a high 3/4's to over the top arm slot, high arm circle in back, simple directional lower half mechanics, very consistent and repeatable overall delivery. Fastball worked in the low 70's and topped out at 73 mph, gets nice downhill angle with his release point and consistent sinking action at the plate, created tons of weak ground ball contact. Soft curveball had some depth and was landed for strikes. Strike thrower who fills up the zone and works plus quickly, only threw 37 pitches in three innings. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread bent knee start, has some hand quickness and swings hard, solid line drive contact to all fields. 8.61 runner in the sixty who plays the outfield when not on the mound. Named to the 13U/14U Sunshine Midwest Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
