Jayden Phelps is a 2027 OF/RHP, SS with a 5-8 125 lb. frame from Daisetta, TX who attends Hardin. Medium, lanky build with length to frame. Ran a 7.76 in the sixty. Solid showing in the outfield and infield drills. Good intent to the arm path. Gets to the bag on time and on a line. Good actions and charges, clean funnels and exchanges. Looks the part at either spot. Solid backhand on the dirt too. Also pitched, drop and drive mechanics from efficient arm circle. Good intent to the arm with some tilt to the slider. Mixes tempos well and more in the frame to tap into. Right-handed hitter, upright stance and even base with higher hand set. Solid fundamental swing working short too long. Creates some extension with quick hands that stay short through the zone. Short swing with impact to it.
