2021 Summer Northeast Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Zowen Collins is a 2023 1B/LHP/OF with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Canajoharie, NY who attends Cobleskill-Richmondville. Collins is extremely athletic regardless of his position on the field, showcasing clean mechanics and strong throws across the diamond from 1B with quick turns and transitions. On the mound, Collins wasn't afraid to challenge hitters from a 3/4 arm slot with direct downhill movements. He ran the fastball up to 79 mph and flashed two plus off speed pitches in a fading changeup and late breaking 11-5 slurve that had opponents swinging swords. Offensively, Collins started from a slightly open stance with solid separation and extension from the hands to generate some power potential. Ran a 7.50 60 yard dash. Named to the 2021 Summer Northeast Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
