Caden Kiefer is a 2024 1B/RHP, OF with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Conroe, TX who attends Porter. Recorded a 6.99 second 60-yard dash time. Primary first baseman with a big frame and strong build. Athletic mover around the bag with feel for the position. Fundamental footwork with accurate throws across the diamond and on the turn at 78 mph. Aggressive approach working in the outfield with quick feet and online throws to the bases at 81 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher working from the stretch with drop and drive mechanics down the slope. Belt-high lift sinking into his strong lower half and driving down the slope with a 3/4 arm slot delivery. Fastball command with arm side run at 79 mph (2047 RPM) and a breaking ball in the upper-60s make up his pitch arsenal. Ability to throw both offerings in the strike zone. Right-handed hitter with a slightly open even base and high hands stance in the box. Short stride with separation of hands into slot. Rotational bat path with quick hands and strength out front. Big impact when he stays connected and releases the barrel out front with extension at contact. Excellent student.
