Nasir Stevenson is a 2026 OF/RHP/IF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Perth Amboy, NJ who attends Salisbury. Medium sized, athletic frame with room to add strength. At the plate starts with high hands and a bat wrap. Has a major hitch when load begins and works hard to lift the ball. At times his bat drags through the zone. Squared half the reps he saw in his BP round. Current gap power. Defensively used a passive approach to the ball. Could benefit from a more deliberate 1st step. Uses proper foot/glove mechanics, but could be polished up a bit. Has a low 3/4 arm slot and was accurate on half his throws to the bases. On the mound Stevenson demonstrated clean, fundamental mechanics out of an over the top arm slot. Breaking ball has 12-6 shape. Works down in the zone well. Pounds the zone with FB’s. Nice two-way guy. Clocked a 7.1 60-yard dash. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
