Bobby Wooten is a 2027 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-9 144 lb. frame from Macon, GA who attends Stratford Academy. Medium height with an athletic build and lots of room for growth as he matures. Rana 6.88 in the sixty yard dash. A primary infielder, displayed quick feet and worked them well through the ball with the ability to take proper angles. Solid catch and throw skills and was around the bag with solid arm strength, 82 mph across the diamond. Also played the outfield and can cover a lot of ground and the arm translated to the fact of being able to play all three positions, 86 mph during drills. A right-handed hitter, has some rhythm to the hands pre pitch and works to turn the barrel and get out front. Plenty of hand speed to build on and create future power. A secondary pitcher, athletic delivery with a quick and compact arm stroke. 3/4 release and pounds the zone with a running low-80s fastball. Spins the breaking ball hard with horizontal actions and attacked hitters with the pitch. Really good feel on the mound. Good two way potential.
