Levi Abrego is a 2028 SS/2B/3B with a 5-9 152 lb. frame from Iowa Colony, TX who attends Iowa Colony High School. Lean, athletic frame with a high waist and plenty of room to physically mature. Primary middle-infielder with some bounce in his steps. Displayed a quick first step, works downhill through the baseball with fluidity and good pace. Showed the ability to range well laterally from side-to-side, while changing arm slots when necessary. Produced arm strength up to 76 mph across the diamond during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a narrow, open base with a high hand set, high back elbow and forward stride into launch. Leveraged stroke with good lower half engagement, creates separation into impact and garners extension out in-front. Displayed looseness to his hands and plenty of present bat speed to create loud impact from gap-to-gap. Athletic, fundamentally sound prospect with tons of upside on both sides of the baseball, will continue to expand overall profile with additional strength.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
