Raekwon Wedderburn is a 2023 OF/2B, SS, MIF with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Decatur, GA who attends Southwest Dekalb. Ran a 7.13 second sixty-yard dash time. Tall, athletic, primary outfielder with a smooth arm action, and noticeable athleticism as he works through the ball well with feel for the glove, a smooth transfer and release that produces accurate throws to bases with carry. Throws in the outfield at 82-mph. A secondary second baseman and utility infielder, showcased quick twitch actions on the diamond and clean footwork which led to his ability to range well to either side. Quick glove transfer in the infield with a smooth arm action that produced throws with accuracy to bases at 78-mph. Square stance at the plate with low hand setup outside the chest. Featured a pull side approach with developing barrel feel, and nice torque generation with his lower half. Occasional loud barrel contact when he caught it out front with extension. Gap to gap approach right now, with in-game result.
