Angel Garcia is a 2025 C/1B, 3B with a 5-10 166 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends True North Classical Academy. Medium, stocky build with obvious strength in the lower half. 7.36 runner in the 60-yard dash. Right-handed hitter, starts with an even base and high hands in the stance. Knee lift trigger stride gets the swing started, he swings with intent and sprayed hard liners to both gaps consistently. It is a loose operation and he showed the ability to get extended regularly. He also drove a double into the left-center gap in game action. Primary catcher with a lower, side saddled setup with obvious flexibility in the lower half. He showed athleticism coming out of the crouch, gains ground to second base well and has a good arm. The ball gets out quick with accuracy to the bag, recorded throws up to 79 mph and a pop-time of 1.94. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
