Mikey Poss is a 2025 LHP/1B with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from Bryant, AL who attends North Sand Mountain. Tall and slender frame. Ran a 7.67 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher with a two pitch mix out of a three-quarter arm slot. Crossfire delivery that hides the ball well. Mid 70's fastball with arm side run that he locates in the zone consistently and a big sweeping breaking ball that he showed command of. Located multiple backdoor breaking balls to right handed hitters. Projectability on the mound. Also worked out at first base showing the ability to move the feet well around the bal, gets the glove out front and makes plays with smooth footwork, average arm strength with developing accuracy. A left handed hitter that consistently was on time at the plate and got to the barrel, short and direct hand path to the baseball with the ability to use the whole field. Two-way potential. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
