2022 Northern California Workout Showcase (Sunday)
Robert Ivie is a 2025 LHP/1B with a 5-7 165 lb. frame from Hanford, CA who attends Hanford. Strong build. Ran the sixty in 8.80 seconds. A primary LHP, he throws from a H 3/4 arm slot with a clean arm circle behind. Creates some deception with a crossfire stride and he repeats his low effort delivery. His fastball sat 64-66 MPH with arm side run. He also showed a curveball with depth and a fading changeup in his arsenal. In the infield at 1B he moved comfortably around the bag and fielded grounders cleanly to both sides of his body. His top throw across the infield was clocked at 64 MPH. With the bat he hits out of a spread stance and uses a leg kick to generate leverage throughout his swing. Good student in the classroom.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
