2021 Puerto Rico Workout Showcase
Miguel J. Maldonado Bonet is a 2025 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Cataño, PR who attends Dr. Pedro Albizu Campos. Medium height with a proportioned frame and good room to add bulk. Ran a 7.15 in the sixty yard dash. A primary infielder, stays balanced and square during the approach with a solid two handed funnel, consistently working the hands out front. Threw 82 across the infield with a lot more to come as he develops. A left-handed hitter, uses a hanging leg lift trigger and stays on top. Solid hand speed while staying connected and spraying line drives to all fields. Short and compact with good eye-hand coordination. Very good upside.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
