Brady Maxwell is a 2027 C/RHP/3B with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Olney, MD who attends St. Johns College. Long, tall frame with a lean current build and nice musculature especially for this class. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.63 seconds. Primary position C, showing good flexibility sitting deeply into his primary stance with good lateral mobility. Feel for the glove and works with a clean transfer. Compact arm action with direct footwork, delivering on the bag throws up to 72 mph with a solid 2.14 pop time. Reps also from the IF and OF, showing feel for both spots moving well on his feet and creating good angles. Out front with the glove and uses full arm path with velocity up to 77 mph here. Secondary RHP, working from the stretch only, shorter stride and long smooth arm path in the back. Accelerates through a low-3/4 arm angle and works cross body creating deception at release. FB up to 75 mph with lower, sinking type action and two-plane CB in the low-60s. Lived in the bottom of the zone and tunneled both pitches well together. LHH working from a strong and balanced stance to start. Pull oriented swing with juice in the hands, ball jumps off his barrel. Does get around the ball a bit but the bat speed and offensive talent is advanced for age. Real two-way potential and an outstanding student as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
