Joseph Parrish is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 6-0 222 lb. frame from Anthem, AZ who attends Boulder Creek. Large frame. Ran the 60 yard dash in 8.27 seconds. Primary right-handed pitcher, throws from a high three-quarter arm slot with short arm action. Starts from the stretch and has a simple repeatable delivery. The fastball topped out at 86 mph with good run. He maintained his velo well, worked quickly and threw strikes. Lived on the inner half to right-handed hitters. Worked in a slider with good tilt and depth at 72 mpg. Also worked out in the outfield, let the ball come, still developing OF actions, glove tends to get down late. Showed strong accurate throws ball has good carry. At the plate, has a violent swing that drives the ball in the gaps well. Takes big hacks and uses his lower half to drive the ball. Named to the Sunshine West Showcase Top Prospect List.
