Keyen Marquez is a 2027 OF/LHP, 1B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Carefree, AZ. Features a bigger build with some strength present. Ran a 7.81 60-yard dash. Worked out at first base and in the outfield. Moves well in the outfield with proper footwork into the catchpoint. Was accurate with most throws using an over the top release. Showcased the ability to make the routine play consistently. Arm produces accurate double feeds. Threw 70 mph across the diamond. Switch-hitter. Utilizes a medium base stance with a balanced setup. Can generate quality bat speed from both sides of the plate. Has good feel for the barrel with intriguing power potential. Left-handed swing is slightly more advanced at this point in time. Left-handed pitcher. Uses a semi-windup delivery into tall and fall mechanics. Hides the ball well throughout compact arm into an overhead release. Fastball got up to 72 mph and was thrown on a downhill plane. Offering works well at the bottom of the zone, generating frequent ground balls. Curveball at 63-66 mph showed sharp, downward bite. Quality depth on the pitch can miss bats when spun well. Has intriguing upside on the bump.
