Connor Barker is a 2022 3B/RHP, SS with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Atwater, MN who attends ACGC. Recorded a 7.68 second sixty-yard dash time. Well-proportioned, larger frame with present physicality and lower half strength. Primary third baseman with anticipatory footwork into and through the fielding process. Displays slight waist bend to field deep, while working into a three-quarters arm slot and arm strength recorded up 78 mph across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a developing feel for pitching; works from a fairly simple delivery with some deliberate actions from the windup, while looking more comfortable from the stretch. Fastball worked in the mid-to-upper 70s for the duration of his outing, flashing good extension when staying simple. Threw fair amount strikes from a three-quarters arm slot, while displaying potential with his 11-5 shaped curveball. Right-handed hitter that hits from a slightly open stance with deep hand load and hover trigger for timing. Intent based swing with loose hand path and present bat speed. Middle-to-pull-side approach with the propensity to try and lift the ball during game action. Will continue to improve with minor refinements of his overall skill set and maturity.
