Trace Jacobs is a 2025 OF/RHP, 3B, SS with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from Hays, KS who attends Hays. Lean, projectable build. Ran the sixty in 8.49 seconds. A primary OF, his best throw from the OF grass was clocked at 69 mph. Went after balls with controlled aggression and took efficient routes to balls. At the plate he hits out of a narrow, square stance with a leg kick trigger. He showed a flat bat path through the zone that is conducive to producing line drives. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot and the FB topped out at 69 mph while showing arm side run. He also showed a CB that had 11/5 shape that flashed tightness and bite.
