Nate Snead is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from South Milwaukee, WI who attends South Milwaukee. Large frame with a lean and athletic build, plenty of room to fill moving forward. Primary right-handed pitcher, utilizes a long and offline arm action with deep plunge. Has a smooth and easy delivery, looks clean and fluid and certainly does not throw at max effort. Has excellent arm speed with plenty of whip to the arm, settled in well and showed good command of his fastball in the second inning. Featured a curveball with 11-5 shape and vertical drop, has good sharpness to it when he gets it below the knees. Showed the ability to throw it for strikes in even counts, continued to gain feel for it as the outing progressed. Also flashed a changeup with sharp/late run. Excellent athlete with big upside on the mound. Good student. Named to the 2022 National Pre-Draft Showcase Top Prospect List.
