Jordan Young is a 2021 OF/SS with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Inver Grove Heights, MN who attends St. Thomas Academy. Shows good speed and athleticism, running a 6.87-second sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder with quick feet to position, fielding the ball well with good hands out front and showcasing a shorter arm action to throw. Has some arm strength, making throws up to 83mph. Also worked out in the infield, setting up well with confident glove actions and solid accuracy across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that starts from an even stance, with a good weight shift and linear shift to contact. Has a line drive barrel plane, executing a middle of the field approach and flashing some pull-side power that will improve with added strength. Good student.
