Tyler Jumper is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Wilmington, NC who attends John T Hoggard. Solid athletic frame with lean overall build and time for adding muscularity. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.11 seconds. Primary position OF, using a controlled approach and fielding off to the side. Midline transfer into appropriate long arm action creating throws up to 79 mph with true flight and solid accuracy. Moves well, covering ground in the field. LHH utilizing a tall stance, high hand set and high back elbow. Toe tap trigger to get started with a slightly open stance striding back closed. Works hard to get inside the ball, working the middle of the field when at his best. Secondary RHP, using a step to the side and belt high leg lift. Long arm stroke in the back leading to a high 3/4 arm angle and good extension out front. FB showed life in the zone peaking at 81 mph and lots of strikes. Ability to land breaking ball at will it seemed with a mid-60's vertically shaped pitch. Good projection on the mound. Very good student and time to prove two-way capabilities long-term.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
