Tate Queen is a 2025 3B/1B with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Portsmouth, OH who attends Valley. Durable build. Primary corner infielder, shows direct footwork to the fielding point, sticks his nose in on the backhand with a glove that works through the short hop well. Low slot release produces solid carry across the diamond with accuracy to match. At first base, very similar actions, moves well off the bag, quick outside turn. Accurate throws to both bases. Right handed hitter, wide base, and high back elbow. Swing path works lofted to impact, showing the natural strength in the lower half to produces power in the air, middle to pull. Huge strength in there, with plenty more unlockable with minor swing refinements. 7.82 60-yard. Outstanding student. Named to the Top Prospect list.
