Nicholas Agron is a 2024 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends Notre Dame College Prep. Recorded a 5.43 second forty yard dash time. Tall and slender build with plenty of room to fill. Primary left-handed pitcher, comes from a three-quarters slot with average arm speed and a short arm circle. Utilizes a slow, sidestep delivery and lands online with good extension to the plate. Will slow his arm down at times to find the zone, has some upside as he gets stronger and his body control improves, can be more aggressive on the mound. Primary off speed pitch was a curveball with 1-7 shape and decent sink at times, also flashed a changeup to complete the three-pitch mix. Secondary first baseman, made all the plays cleanly, hands work well and showed a quick release to second base. Left-handed hitter with an even base and narrow stance, utilizes an even hand set and a small leg lift trigger. Doesn't fully get off the backside, tends to leak forward and get soft over his front side from time to time. Long swing path with a pull side approach, has a lot of momentum to his timing mechanism. Smooth-enough mover in the box and will continue to improve with small adjustments. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
