2021 14U Fall South Showcase
Michael Valenzuela is a 2025 C/RHP/OF with a 5-8 125 lb. frame from Humble, TX who attends Summer Creek. From his primary spot behind the dish, Valenzuela produced clean quick transitions while successfully staying down on the baseball. He displayed young projectable actions from both behind the plate and the IF which would expect velocity to develop in the future. On the mound, Valenzuela worked exclusively from the stretch using a calculated tempo and over the top slot to throw strikes consistently and let his defense do the job. Offensively, he started from a wider base with good lower half rotation and the ability to use all parts of the field. Ran a 7.78 sixty yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
