Steven Mills is a 2023 C/RHP/OF with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Spring. Taller athletic frame. Ran a 6.96 60-yard dash. A catcher/outfielder with some speed and developing footwork to the baseball in the outfield, decent overall body control and a quick release from a side shuffle with an above average throwing arm. Caught from a high set up, gained ground, some extra movements from receiving to throwing and an average throwing arm. Hit from a narrow base and square stance at the plate. Some strength in the swing with a shorter uphill bat path, some connectivity to the swing with feel for the barrel and ability to lift the baseball to his pull side. Some natural ability to work with as he gets on time consistently at the plate. Very good student.
