Nate Simon is a 2026 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-6 115 lb. frame from Avondale, PA who attends Avon Grove. Young athlete with a medium current frame and lean muscle tone and a tremendous amount of time to add more physicality. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.34 seconds. Primary position OF, moving well through his reps and securing the ball working the glove out front appropriately. Squares up well to throw and will get more on throws as he learns to maintain momentum through the play. Full inline arm path creating throws up to 72 mph back to the infield with solid accuracy. Secondary LHP, working from the stretch only using high leg lift and hand break across the chest. Gets a touch of torso tilt towards 3B and strides a bit crossbody. Accelerates through a low-3/4 arm angle building velocity up to 68 mph on FB with run to the arm side. Developing CB with low spin traits currently with more command to come with gains in strength. LHH starting narrow and open with a high back elbow and quiet lower half mechanics. Struggled a bit to be on time initially but got better as his batting practice round progressed. Swing has some natural loft to it and when on plane showed some hop off the barrel. Young two-way talent set with a lot of time and room to fill out. Outstanding student as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
